I haven’t posted as much lately as I started a new job and have been focusing on that. Starting tonight (I hope), more time will be dedicated to bringing you crazy business stories. So here’s a video round-up of business blunders:
Vern Fonk Insurance, an insurance company from Washington state, has the best TV commercials. Even better (and cheaper, I’m sure) than Geico. I like my commercials goofy. Vern Folk nails it. The first one below is a spoof on Back to the Future…so funny. What insurance company would ever spoof Back to the Future?

Found this video on Tumblr but it’s also on Buzzfeed. Apparently, New York City city workers had to tow away a front-loader in the 2010 blizzard in Brooklyn Heights, crushing a Ford Explorer in the process. Continually crushing the car. Again and again. Not stopping to worry about the car in any form at all.
If anyone has a link to local news coverage of this, please post a link in the comments. I’d like to know more about it and the YouTube description leaves some unanswered questions.
I don’t think I could handle driving in this traffic in India. Are there any driving rules in India? Holy shit. You’ve got cars, motorbikes, pedestrians, all just cruising around.

Here are some commercials for weird and creepy toys you might not want to get for your kids. Baby Laugh A Lot is by far the creepiest one to me. The way the girls whip their heads around reminds me of a 70s horror movie.
